Welcome to River Farm, a verdant farmstead spread along the bank of the Narrow River in Saunderstown, Rhode Island.

River Farm is home to a flock of Merino sheep, the pigs Hamlet and Petunia, and pot-bellied friends Bernie and Ernie. Fresh eggs from our free range Ameraucana chickens are produced throughout the year. Each autumn, honey is collected from several beehives residing across the farm. Every year provides us with a distinct vintage of honey, whose flavor is a record of the flowers and herbs visited by the bees that season.

As honey, wool products, and other farm produce become available across the seasons, they will be posted in our Etsy Shop. Please visit our blog to learn more about our farm, cookery projects, and local community.
